Dementia, currently the UK’s leading cause of death, is set to affect 1 in 2 people by 2040, making it the most expensive condition by 2030. Yet, 1 in 3 people with dementia never receive a diagnosis, and those who do face long delays, especially in deprived areas.
 
 
 
It doesn't have to be this way. 

We're calling on the UK Government to end the dementia postcode lottery and revolutionise the future of dementia diagnosis. We want to see quick and accurate diagnosis of dementia through the NHS, so that those who are eligible can access new treatments for Alzheimer's, once they become available. Calling for investment in NHS workforce, equipment, and training, to improve the dementia diagnosis process for all.
