INVITE YOUR MP TO OUR PARLIAMENTARY EVENT!
You may have read the headlines about new Alzheimer's drugs not being available in the NHS. This is just one of the many challenges we're currently facing, alongside delays to diagnosis and too few people knowing they can take action to keep their brains healthy and reduce their risk of developing dementia in later life.
On Wednesday 11 December, we’re hosting an event in parliament to raise awareness of dementia and these challenges. And we need your MP to attend!
The event will give MPs the chance to talk to us about our work on addressing diagnosis, new treatments and prevention in the UK, hear from people with lived experience of dementia, and find out how they can support our calls in parliament. We need dementia research to be high on the political agenda and MPs are key to this.
You can make a difference! MPs are much more likely to attend if they receive a request from a constituent - that's why we’re asking you to send them a personal invitation.
